I have been picturing this blog for quite some time now. For months my head has been filling up with blog ideas, layouts, recipes and exercises to post. Finally, I bit the bullet and figured...new month, new blog!
With that said, welcome to The Veggie Scramble!
I am a Registered Dietitian here in beautiful Austin, Texas. I have a huge passion for food and fitness and living in Austin provides me with many avenues to experience the two. I love to cook and bake and I am always open to trying unique dishes. I often create my own recipes and am always putting a healthy spin on 'not-so-healthy' foods. I truly believe what you put in your body determines how you feel day-to-day. Food is what gives us energy and it is important to fuel our bodies with nutritious and delicious foods. You know, healthy food CAN taste good too!
I am creating this blog as a way to document my life, delicious and healthy foods I have eaten or created, fitness activities and exercises I enjoy, and keeping you up-to-date on nutrition information I find interesting and important. So please join me as I become more familiar with this 'blogging-thing' and hopefully I will open your eyes to something new as well.
And remember...healthy food CAN be delicious and everything in moderation ;-).
